THEYRE ALL GONE!!!
Yeah, Bylsma should have been canned a week or more ago (putting aside that they shouldn't have hired him in the first place) instead of waiting until today.I feel sorry for whoever gets either gig.
Inmates run the asylum, and the owner is unpredictable. No coach will have authority and the GM will have his hand forced at every turn.
Wow.
Abysmal Nad's inabilities notwithstanding, to fire him the day after a player goes public shows you have no backbone. Everyone knows One Plan Dan is shit. But They could have at least waited a week or two. They basically said "Don't hurt us, Jack!"

I'm not even sure where they go from here. What a cluster.
Just hang in there, baby. You're doing' great. Eichel's proud of you and so am I. It's almost over. Tell Evander you're proud of him.I think Jules Winnfield as head coach and Winston Wolfe as GM might do the trick.
The thing is, I think the Slugs are a D and a coach away from being a playoff/bubble team at worst. I'm not sure a tear down was completely necessary.
Agreed. I didn't think GMTM would go, which is why I'm guessing he got canned for standing by Disco Dan.The thing is, I think the Slugs are a D and a coach away from being a playoff/bubble team at worst. I'm not sure a tear down was completely necessary.
If that is indeed the case, he deserved to get fired (although I kinda think he had it coming to him anyway).Agreed. I didn't think GMTM would go, which is why I'm guessing he got canned for standing by Disco Dan.
Maybe, but the problem is Murray's been there for 3 years. He's spent a lot of capital assembling this team - ROR, Kane, Lehner, Moulson, Okposo, Bogosian, Gorges, Kulikov, Franson, these are all his guys and it took either assets or money to get them there and in 3 years they have not formed anything resembling a cohesive unit. Two years later and it's still 50-50 if Lehner pans out. 4 of those guys I named are d-men and they are a black hole defensively. That's a blue line he has to own. Kane was a mistake, even if he smartens up for stretches of the year and shows the offensive ability he does possess. The thing is, I think the Slugs are a D and a coach away from being a playoff/bubble team at worst. Ted Nolan!

I have no reason to give the Pegulas any credit whatsoever for how they've handled their careers in team ownership thus far but this was one move that should've been a no-brainer and they were smart to do it.
