I would of never thought going into week 7 my waiver wire pickup week 1 Austin Hooper would hold down the #1 TE spot in our PPR league.

Here's the deal... been offered a trade.
League: 12 man
ppr
qb, rb, rb, wr, wr, flex, flex (both flex wr, rb) te...

Our playoffs start week 13 and of course trying to assemble a team that can compete for a ship.
I've heard all the noise about Bell's schld coming up. I see Amari doing good and also dealing with injury stuff on and off. But are these players worth breaking up the 4 and 2 band....? What am I missing...?

I'm 4 and 2. This owner is 1 and 5 and ready to go down with the crap ship of players he drafted to finish last and he's really not looking to trade but sent this one... (he loves Hooper.)

I'd give up
Kerryon Johnson
Stefon Diggs
Austin Hooper

I'd get
Le'von Bell
Amari Cooper
Ito Smith (his crap toss in)

My current team
Matt Ryan
D. Cook
Kerryon Johnson
Stefon Diggs
Courtland Sutton
Calvin Ridley
K Golladay
Austin Hooper
Bears Def

bench
Josh Allen
Mattison
Darrel Williams
Cole Beasley
Jordan Howard
Steelers Def

His Roster...
Kirk Cousins
Le'Veon Bell
Leonard Fournette
Amari Cooper
Golden Take
LeSeason McCoy
Tevin Coleman
Darren Fells
Rams

Bench
Baker May
Ito Smith
Allen Lazard
D. Thomas
Antonio Brown
Tyrell Williams

Thanks,

I wouldn't do it. You're giving up too much. Plus, TE is a hellscape and Hooper is one of the ones that's performing well week to week. I'd hold onto every performing tight end with a death grip

@YourFriendGannon exactly the hold up on this matter... waiver wire is a wasteland at TE...

@wildturkey thanks.... Hooper needs to stay out of this deal...

I'll see if any other combo works on players...

After this week the Jets have a pretty easy schedule so Bell is likely an upgrade over Johnson but not by enough to compensate for losing Hooper. .... think you're much better off in the long haul holding . ... but seems you already came to that conclusion. ... nice team.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

I agree, you're giving up too much. It's not even that close to me.
Plus if you trade Diggs, your WR group takes a hit IMO

this is it... if TE waivers is a wasteland, seems like a big risk to hope Bell outscores Kerryon and Hooper.

That said, if you could remove Diggs and Smith from this equation, and someone like Ben Watson is available... might be worth it.

Also, you could always take a hard look at other teams to try and swing a deal for a TE. If waivers are bare, rosters must have something.
