The entire conference is a joke right now. Deal with it. USC is no longer a power and the longer they keep Helton, the worse it's going to get.

I saw a lot of similarities in USC and Nebraska.

Both teams cannot play defense.
Both teams don't have a real running game, which means they lack an offensive line.
What's a tight end?
Only one true wide receiver threat.
Linebackers that could not cover tight ends.
Both teams lost to Iowa.

Things I see different.
Nebraska has capable backups at QB. Matt Fink played poorly although he did beat Utah.
USC fans are smarter, when their team sucks they just go away and find something else to do. Nebraska fans stick it out.
USC won a national championship this century and this millennium.

If Nebraska played USC it would be a close game, but I still think USC would win because the Nebraska defense would never stop USC on third and long or 4th and long with the game on the line.

And that recruiting class... They are going to be down for a LONG time. Didn't have the balls to cut ties with Helton and start the rebuild now.

USC will be back eventually, you are right it could be a LONG time. Too much talent in the LA area. Also I agree with you, they should have cut ties with Helton, but it's never too late.
