Can't really fault the Jackets, they've played hard but the Caps get two early bounces and then spend the rest of the time doing what the Jackets have been doing, getting in space quickly. Jackets just haven't been able to slow down and assess. No time. Caps are playing a great game.

No shame in trailing this one. The Jackets are a third period team, I hope they stand up and make some people nervous.




And we could use a visit from sieve level Holtby.

Yeah, that SUCKED sweaty balls. It's one thing to lose, it's another to be blown out, and then beyond those, there's getting goose-egged. Totally fucking sucks.

Of course, I put some of the blame for the shutout on Durbin. Through 11 games, fucking guy was 16 for 16, averaging 33yrd/FG with two 45 yarders. Then the big games against UofM and Clemson and he goes 1 for five and even missed a 21yd attempt.

Damnit. I'm not saying that if he'd have made his FGs against Clemson the outcome of the game would have been different, but at least they wouldn't have been blanked.

I was sweating them getting Bautista for a bit.

And really, as much credit should go to that awesome guy as it should the Indians FO. After all, he signed with the Indians for 25% less than the Blue Jays offered him.
