With the concerns over Kemp's health, I wonder how long until he won't be able to physically play in the outfield anymore. The Upton trade was a great move by the Padres, as they gave up significantly less than what the Braves asked of the Mariners. An outfield of Myers, Kemp and Upton appears to be one of the best in the majors.
Although with Kemp's health and Upton's expiring contract, these certainly are win now moves. Norris and Myers were good longterm moves though.
