If he is between Upton and Harper, and yet none of the main targets, then who? That has to be a blockbuster IMO if they are bringing up young talents such as those in relation to this deal. Sounds like Viciedo definitely isn't coming thank god!

If it's better than Upton then Walker has got to be the target right? This is why I think possibly Werth. 3 years left on his deal. Not sure if they need Walker though. Maybe Gomez? OK, I'll stop now and just wait.

The M's have usually been pretty tight lipped about pending trades. It wouldnt shock me if it someone who we arent being linked to. Look at our last few trades, did anyone have any ideas about Happ, Jackson or Lomo before they happened. Usually its something like that rather then guys other outlets are linking the M's too.

If the Braves have lowered their asking price from Walker, make the trade. I wouldn't be in favor of any trade that included Walker, but if we can land Upton without having to give up Walker I don't see why not do it. This is under the assumption that we wouldn't have to give up Paxton or D.J. Peterson. Since both of them have more value (imo) than Walker, I have to assume that means neither of them would be included.

Any reasonable deal without Paxton, Peterson or Walker is worth it. Even though Upton likely won't resign here, I'd be down.
