Apparently showed up to training camp with a cast on his leg. May explain why Foles name was being tossed around. Might be in need of a camp arm.

Considering he'd have to AGREE to signing on as our back up, I doubt he'd be a huge headache.

That said, no chance he does and you are completely right that it's a nonsense move from our stand point

I completely agree with this. I'm just saying that may explain why there were rumors...some insiders very well may have known about Heinicke's injury.

Smart move by a borderline roster guy to sever a tendon breaking into his own house a week before camp though.
