Hated guy in the Lions org

If you had to pick one guy who you really dislike in the Lions org and they'd be replaced who would you pick?

Popular names seem to be Linehan, Schwartz, Mayhew, Akers, Pettigrew, Houston, Slay, Raiola, CJ.

I like the fire that Cunningham brings but I don't like the scheme. So I'd go with him if it meant a scheme change.

Look at Carolina and the number of players on that defense that were ineffective or had little success before playing in that scheme. Hell Drayton Florence is thriving over there. I just think our defense has far to many playmakers to be playing this poorly.

Part of the problem is that our scheme is so fucking vanilla... too easy to game plan against.

Raiola will be gone soon enough, due to age, but I don't hate the guy. If I had to fire someone, it would be Akers. The guy is washed up. There have to be better choices out there.

I'd say Akers Linehan Schwartz in that order. Akers sucks. Linehan isn't imaginative enough. Schwartz dictates the defensive scheme and is pretty bad at managing the game.

Who the hell wants to get rid of CJ? The oline is working great as a unit, so Im fine with that pos raiola for now. Slay is a rookie and shouldnt be considered at all. Mayhew so far has looked alot better with his years draft. I havent given up on houston yet, Ive always thought of him as a second CB no a first. Pettigrew, god hes frustrating but still a great blocker and a huge target for stafford. Linehan, eh lions do have one of the better offenses but why the fuck are they so inconsistent? Akers is a dumbass and its somebodies fault for playing hardball with hanson originally instead of just paying the man and now the fans are paying for it. Hes awful but this falls on the organization. I would have to go with schwartz, the guy is a stubborn, arrogant ego maniac and I just dont see the lions winning it all with him.

Shwartz. He is too stupid to know that he is stupid. If he at least realized it and let the coordinators do their thing then maybe he would be OK.

Also the wide 9 is Shwartz's deal not Cunningham's. Gunny is a 3-4 guy so that's another reason.

I'd have to say 1) Cunningham 2) Schwartz 3) Akers. We need to totally revamp our defensive philosophy. It pretty much sucks ass. Schwarts is a bafoon IMO. He's made some really boneheaded on the fly decisions. Akers just blows. Unless the team has a total collapse and missed the post season Schwartz and Gunther will be back. Plus... what I think also saves Schwartz a bit is this years draft. Even though it was more Mayhew, Shwartz does deserve some credit.
