Longtime Michigan Wolverines beat writer & insider, Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News was doing her weekly interview segment on Detroit sports radio 105.1 today, Friday morning Dec 26th.

She let the cat out of the bag and said the next Michigan coach will be Jim Harbaugh...she also stated that Harbaugh's new Wolverines coaching staff names are starting to filter out of Ann Arbor.

I have seen to many Les Miles to Michigan reports to think anything is a done deal until a contract is signed.

As for being a better college coach IMO thats true players turn over so quickly 3-5 years on average Harbaugh's personality doesn't wear them down. Plus he has an AD in college that has little if any say over the football team. No GM power struggles to worry about.

Again if he is it's the worst kept secret in sports.

Absolutely unreal when you think that a coach with that performance is being run off a franchise who before he arrived had been a joke for over a decade. Goes to show how terrible the ownership and GM is. Their the problem, not Harbaugh. Especially considering what a meat grinder the NFCW is.

York has always been a cheapskate bozo and this just proves it. Hope their fans are ready for mediocre again while paying those astronomical seat license prices. But heh, at least you can get your food snobbery on at the stadium. Whoopde fucking do!!

Enough ppl have pointed out the error in this post. Harbaugh is simply a damn good football coach. College or Pros, that man is gonna win. To do what he was able to do in Stanford speaks volumes. It's a completely different beast of a task when you have to make an elite team with academic standards being your greatest disadvantage. To be a contender in the Pac 12 like he was is an amazing job. Idk, how you can say he is a better college coach than a pro coach though. His resume in the pros is on par, maybe better, than his college resume.
