Detroit Free Press said:WASHINGTON — Two days after a heartbreaking, last-second loss to Michigan State, Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh got some face time with President Barack Obama at the White House today, with the commander-in-chief telling Harbaugh that he feels his pain.

We talked about some mutual friends that we both know, and he said the same thing you just said: 'Tough way to lose a football game,'" said a relaxed Harbaugh after leaving the West Wing. "(He) told the fellas to keep their chin up. ... (He) likes the way our team plays and he told the guys to keep it going."
