I wouldn't read it either. You notice they named a recruiting rule after Saban himself? You know the really professional coach who doesn't push the boundaries of the rules.

I've never once seen a single Ohio State fan defend what Tressel did as being right, and it definitely was embarrassing and he was appropriately punished. I have no idea what your point was in even bringing that up.

That's what Michigan gets when they hire an OHIO STATE GRAD like Moeller. I bet you didn't know he actually played at OSU and was a captain for OSU his senior year for Woody Hayes.

You are talking about something being embarrassing. What Tressel and Gee did was embarrassing, not just to the football team, but the school. Recruiting antics, satellite camps and spring practice in florida isn't embarrassing. UM fans are actually laughing at the other fan bases being up in arms over something so petty, as NOTHING he has done hasn't been approved by the NCAA, nor is it against the rules in any way, shape or form.

My post was in response to Ellupo who pointed his finger at Gary Moeller's drunken antics which led to his firing in 1994 (22 years ago) as "embarrassing."

Did I say the state of Ohio? I said an OHIO STATE GRAD. I have nothing against the actual state -- I live the same distance from Toledo, as I do from Ann Arbor. It is when you get down in the Columbus area where the "fans" turn into "fanatics" and start taking things WAY too seriously.

Yeah -- you have to start at the bottom when you are a new coach and take any job out there to get experience.
