Does it at all concern you that his team in san fran hates him, and his playcalling on offense sucks? I think he's a good coach, but these have got to be a concern.

In the NFL where you have huge egos that get paid millions of dollars. Not the same in College, which is why many people believe he's a better college coach with his style suiting it more.

There is no doubt, if we land Harbaugh we will be good again -- and very quickly.

That's not nearly what I said. Please don't come back a year later after we haven't won a national title and claim, "I told you so". I just don't expect to suck if we get Harbaugh.

Harbaugh is much more proven than RR was -- there's certainly reason to be excited about his arrival if he does come. It would be like arguing that OSU fans should have been cautiously optimistic about hiring Urban after going 6-6 the year before.

Not to mention, Stanford didn't beg him to come like we are. A lot changes when someone is viewed as a demigod. Schembechler was just as crazy (Jim learned part of his crazy from him) and he was a beloved icon until the day he died. Crazy is OK as long as he's your crazy. At Stanford he was an outsider.

The only question mark with Harbaugh would be with how he handles the alumni and if they can handle his attitude. Sure, he pissed off the 5 people who care about Stanford football but Michigan has actual donors and a real fan base that can actually sell out a stadium. I don't think there is a question whether or not Harbaugh could turn Michigan around and make them a B1G favorite.

I know how you Michigan people feel: Right now, you dont care if the guy is hated, if he burns out players, etc. Went through the same gamut of feelings last year at this time...just hire someone who can win some games, amirite?
