Rutgers = coaching graveyard. Schiano isn’t going against the shitty Big East anymore and stuck in the difficult B1G East. Will be interesting to see how it goes this time.

This is their best chance to be respectable and make some bowls, but overall this program sucks

Love how quickly Rutgers changed it’s tune after getting railed by media members all over the country for a solid week.

I think a lot of it has to do with him telling them that if you want to compete, you have to invest in facilities, and staff. They have been trying to be competitive on the cheap, and that don't fly. Kids on visits will see and notice 3rd rate facilities. He was not going to let them set him up for failure because they didn't want to invest $ into the program.

It's not like either party had a choice.

Rutgers wasn't going attract anyone better.
No one else would hire Schiano.

Hint. Not going to go well. Lol.

even if he makes them as good as say Indiana is, at best they’re an 8 win team in the B10 East.

I don’t think this will go as well as his first stint there. But I think he will improve the program somewhat

They need to update facilities first. When junior colleges have more updated facilities than a team in in the Big 10, it is pretty pathetic.

Why did the BIG let Rutgers in without some kind of plan to get better.

Because it looks like they have no real plan to get any better.

They were in great shape when they joined the B1G in 2014. In the previous 10 seasons, they averaged around 8 wins a season, and even won 9 games their first season in the B1G.
