Leaves out the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears since I have no clue of those teams.

Green Bay started the Super Bowls but let's consider their entire legacy, since it's my poll..

Still gotta say the Steelers... but the Patriots are closing fast.

Cowboys over the whole SB era, but since the millennium it is the Pats.

I gotta go with the Pats as well............Cowboys and Steelers had some great runs, but the Pats show no sign yet of slowing down. And they've been relevant now for what 15 years?

That's one helluva run.

Funny... as soon as I posted "Pittsburgh" and voted accordingly, I went out to get my Dallas Morning News (I still get a morning paper - goes great with coffee). Open up the sports section (the reason I have a morning paper) and see this;

Ranking the NFL franchises from 1-32: Where do Cowboys rank?

Wasn't surprised to see Pittsburgh at #1. Was surprised to see Dallas still at #2. And - NE is coming hard.

Thought I would share to advance the discussion... this is a good topic to chew on.

The Packers won 5 NFL Championships in 9 seasons under Lombardi which is a feat that may never be equaled.

You probably didn't know the Bears had a string of titles in the 40's... Yeah neither did I
That doesn't diminish their accomplishments in my opinion.

For me New England comfortably. Being so consistently good for so long in today's environment is amazing. Sports leagues, the NFL and NHL especially, have tried their best to dynasty proof their leagues, so to have one at all is a great accomplishment

A very long long time ago. That's why I tried to limit it to the Super Bowl era. That's only 40+ years.
The 60's Packers were part of the Super Bowl era.

A nice chart. For the most part. The Cowboys have been a very good team since the 60's with very few down years.

Most of the teams on that list have sometime to say.

Green Bay was completely dominant in the 60's with recent resurgence between Favre and Rodgers

Pittsburgh has 6 since the 70's with the new edition winning 2 rings in 4 appearances recently.

The 49'ers had an incredible run from 1981 to 1994 winning 5 with 2 different coaches and two different Qbs?

Oakland and the Redskins winning 3 superbowls each with different QBs?

From 2001-2016, the Patriots have been in a Superbowl every 2-4 years winning 5 of them in the process.

I also don't personally consider all of these teams listed dynasties. I agree with these ones:

-Packers (1960s)
-Steelers (1970s)
-49ers (1980s)
-Cowboys (1990s)
-Patriots (2000s-present)

The Raiders, Dolphins, Broncos and Redskins all had good teams but I don't consider those teams dynasties. I guess they're listed for the sake of completeness, but I think they were just great teams, similar to what the Seahawks were from 2012-2015 or the Rams were from 1999-2001
