Bob Quinn took over as the team’s General Manager and he’s instituted several changes already. The weight room is different and the team has hired a nutritionist and others to help get and keep players in shape among other shifts to the organizational culture. Wide receiver Golden Tate said Thursday that those things make a “big difference” and “now we’re just going to startbuilding the empire” by getting everyone dialed in on the same goals.
“Just going into every game, and every year, expecting to win. And not hoping to win,” Tate said, via MLive.com. “That’s the mentality I think, as an organization, we need — as a city, as a state, we need. Is that, we’re afraid of no one. We go into every game thinking we have a good chance to win, or even blow them out. That’s just kind of the mentality we want to have here.”
