Sounds like the Vegas Golden Knights might have to make a name change soon already. Because of a trademark issue.
Yeah, I think this is correct. And even the "Golden" Knights is something related to the Army as well. It's the name of their parachute team or something. I hear that the Golden Knights' owner has also trademarked a website name for SandKnights.com as a "just in case". So it sounds like if they had to change their name it would be to the "Sand Knights", which wouldn't even require a change of colors or logos or anything if they didn't want to.Again?
The name "Golden" Knights was chosen due to a conflict with a Junior hockey team.
They were also told they couldn't use another variation of Knights because of the Army or something. Black Knights maybe?
I'm still holding out for "Knights in White Satin" or "Knights are Forever Without You"
