DCFFL Change in 2024

After much thought I have decided to make a change with DCFFL playoffs. We have had a lot of .500 even some teams below .500 in the playoffs with our current format. I thought to change things up going forward I would change the playoff format. I am also going to re-seed playoff seedings. Instead of having everyone play in a bracket during the playoffs. Not sure why I didn't change that awhile back. So the highest seed will play the lowest seed after Round 1, etc.

6 teams make it instead of 8.

First two seeds get a buy round 1 of the playoffs.

I think we need to reward the regular season a bit more and this has nothing to do with me going 13-1 and then losing Round 1. I actually thought strongly about doing this last year and forgot by the time the season rolled around. Hope this causes no major issue. Think we need a little change anyway after 20 years of the same playoff format.

Going to review a few other things this offseason and will let you know if any other changes are made. Should stay the same for the most part though other then the playoff format.
