I think that this game vs the swiss will re awake canada for a better game. the swiss goalie was awesome today but canada was not at its best. I think canada is still the better team but it really is 50/50 when these women play.

it will be intense and fun for sure. but at least another medal for canada so thats good but I want the gold.

Obviously, I'm rooting for Canada, but I think the speed and skill edge go to the States. If the refs left the girls play (i.e. allow bodychecking that is not incidental conduct), that will level the playing field. Also, whomever gets the start between the pipes for Canada will have to play lights out.

About 4:40 in it gets really good, but plenty of good hits throughout this game...

I think i say this every olympics for the semi final games ... if youre a player ... and your sport/event is constantly in jeopardy/scrutiny of being pulled for lack of competition ... do you fire over 60 shots at the opposing goalie? or do you go for a skate? maybe aim for the pads???

i know i know ... "the moment you do that ... you lose" right? yah sure ... this is womens hockey ... canada and US could play shorthanded all game and still win against these other teams
