Heard on NFL Network that Geno Smith had the third highest QB rating over the last four games of the regular season last year. Anyone think it carries over this year and Geno has a solid year, his third year in the league?

I think the most Jets fans can hope for from him is Average QB. He does actually have some weapons this year with Decker and Marshall so that should help some but Geno will always be that type that he looks good for a bit but then just mentally he loses it. Heck I remember when he was falling in the draft a few years ago the guy was just completely losing it. He reminds me of a less extreme Ryan Leaf honestly at least personality wise.

No.

Never been much of a fan, but he does have 30 games under his belt now. He threw a pick in almost every game, but only more than 1 twice last season.

His very last game of the season was great (20/25, 358, 3:0), but I wouldn't go averaging it in with the other games in that month and try to form a conclusion around it.

Haha when I saw the news this was the first thing I thought about in "we were just talking about the season this guy is going to have and boom breaks his jaw." Looks like might have to temper my him even being average expectations.
