Posey 2-4 ----- just say'in

Thank you gp, someone who agrees with me. I was telling Nolannosepicker that Posey hasn't been going through a slump lately, he's been hitting at least 1 ball really hard every game for the last few games. That's just a classic example of the effects of BABIP, a guy can bloop a double (cough fuck you Jason Werth) or hit a ball hard for an out.

Yeah I guess he's young enough not to need rest just yet...but it would still be nice to win tomorrow with Cain and be able to rest a lot of dudes.

If the Pads lose tonight, we can do no worse than tie.

This is going to be a great weekend boys! Can it be 7:05 on Friday night already!!!!

Agreed, I was in favor of resting him, but not for the same reasons as that cooky old man on the bitchboard proposed. All of the regulars need rest right now (Uribe, Burrell, Huff, Posey, everybody else has seen less playing time lately) the fact that Posey is a catcher is balanced out by how young and athletic he is, so he might need a rest, but others need it before he does. I don't think there was ever much of a slump for him at all.

So, I didn't want to say anything in fear of him crushing us at some point, but did anyone else notice how crazy Mark Reynolds' numbers were?

.198 BA!!!!

32 HR's, 84 RBI
