Not sure Towers is any better at leadoff.

Leadoff is not about speed, though that helps. It is about seeing pitches and getting on base. Neither Towers nor Blanco have done either one well so far.

Hoping for better games from them this road trip. And hoping :panda: warms up.

Pagan placed on DL retroactive to May 28th. Giants recall J.C. Perez.

Quick scouting report on him, excellent defender in the OF, some have said even better than Brown at this point. Speedy, surprising power, has a good idea at the plate. He was moved to 3B this offseason to gain some versatility and has held his own. Can play 3rd, 2nd and all 3 OF positions.

Think Mark DeRosa type if he reaches peak (with better D).

Sounds like Posey hitting 3rd could become a permanent thing. Fine by me, I like Pablo 4th and Pence 5th though. We'll probably see that tomorrow. I would also like to see Scoots leadoff and Crawford second, like you said.

D-Backs related; Daniel Hudson one of my favorite young SP's in the game. Was rehabbing after tearing his UCL last year and undergoing TJ-Surgert. Sadly, just two weeks before he was supposed to come back, he re-tore the UCL and will have TJ for the second year in a row.
