This game has a very unsettling feel to it.

I hate road games at empty tiny stadiums. The team can't feed off of anything. Hmm, it just feels unsettling.

Sloppy first half. Dumb penalties and a couple of preventable INTs (first one is on Davis, 2nd LT underthrew it). This score should be closer to 28-0, instead its 14-7.


Oh, and how dare Weiss wear Tyrod's jersey! :p

Hokies are just making lots of stupid mistakes today. Logan is being sloppy with the ball, the kicking game is a disappointment (really a 29-yard miss?), and the defense basically gave Duke their TD with penalty yards.

Hokies need to come out and march down the field to start the 3rd.

The defense forced 3 turnovers. The offense has put up 300+ yards. There's no reason why this should be a 1-score game still. Not disciplined.

Frank needs to get the special teams going. Net punting average is about 10 yards. Missed 29 yard FG. Returns are a wreck such as Wilson fumbling the first KO return. Cmon Hokies, lets play some Beamer Ball.

I put odds of loss at 50%. This is exactly the type of game we lose. The offense looks like the September offense with a lot of dink and dump passes and runs. The coaches aren't letting Thomas play his October game.

Wow they missed one of the worst holds I've seen a duke online did on Jr Collins on that big run. He just hooked him behind his back and pulled him away.

This is miserable. I know this might be selective, but marcus davis needs to get out of the game. He is not putting in any effort at all and just looks like he doesnt want to be there. Let's just get back to the run and then complement that with the the big play action.

and special teams being horrid
and defense giving up too many penalties
Offense has 400 yards of offense which is not bad, but we had two turnovers which we can't do. We were good in the first half, but too stagnant in the second half some of that has to do with starting with a long field every time.

If we survive this, it may be a blessing in disguise. The coaches are going to have plenty to rip into these guys for, for the next ten days going into GT. It is an awful performance in many ways and a pretty good performance on other rights (Fuller has had an excellent game) but it gives a lot too work on for the next week and a half. There will certainly be no complacency.
