Game Thread: Game 4: Lions Vs Seahawks

1PM on Fox again.

We need this one to stay relevant. Starting 1-3 when 3 of first 4 games are at home would be pretty dire so early. I think we can take this one despite the injuries. Lots of running straight ahead and killing the clock.

Jerry Jacobs and Jameson Williams are both returning to practice this week. We won't see them against Seattle, but it is a good sign that 2 big pieces are on track to return soon.

Hoping the Lions can show a strong offense and avoid having to rely on special teams. Having a kicker that struggles in a dome setting isn’t inspiring much confidence. Let’s hope he is only called on for a bunch of PAT’s. Not expecting too much out of the D outside of good effort; fortunately, I’m expecting less out of the Geno led opposing offense.

I say we bring up Tom Kennedy too. He can not only fill in for ARSB, he is also a better QB than our current backup.

This is the game where Hockenson needs to step up. Maybe a 9+ catch game and 125+ yards and a TD or two will put him back on track.

I still don't see Hockenson as a player, at his position, that's deserving of a relatively high-priced extension, and it has nothing to do with his slow start to this season.
