I defer to your experience on that
Give me just a million bucks and I can live comfortably the rest of my life. These guys make 10's of millions a year and need MORE? That is a mental issue

It's not just money, or even mainly money. KD will make tons whether he stays or goes. But maybe after 3-4 titles in a row on a team where he will never be embraced like Curry, or the original 3 guys, maybe he wants a new challenge. Everyone ripped him for being a pussy going there, so maybe he wants to go where it will take some work to win another title and prove he can be the man.
If he goes to Torono for instance he will STILL be looked at as a pussy though. Piggybacking off of Leonard or Lowry. . Lebron was a pussy when he went to Miami. Was a pussy when he went back to Cleveland to collude with Irving and Love.
The only time he's ever showed balls was this year when he went to LA.
The only way to take the pussy stench of him was if he won in OKC where he started. He should have stayed put in OKC and won the "right way". Everything else is an "asterisk"
You are sofa king stupid, why do you do this to yourself?
So going from one stacked team to collude with another isn't a "pussy move?"... Gotcha..
So knowing fuckall about basketball but posting constant crap like you do isn't "fucking stupid"? Gotcha
Way to refute the facts Einstein
Agree that he has his best chance to win another one by staying next year, which would presumably make 4 in a row. But that's it, the core 4 could not exist past next year. If I were him I would leave then, but none of us knows what makes these guys tick, and I doubt even KD knows yet. He has a lot of Bay Area vc bigwigs all over him too.
Imo, it depends on what he wants.
There is a lot of criticism thrown at superstars that don't have rings. Presumably, he will have 3 after this season.
Then it becomes a question of what he wants.
Does he want to try for 4 in a row?
Does he want to go to New York and potentially get credit for leading that franchise to it's first title since 1973? Is dealing with the Knicks owner worth it?
Would he go to the Wizards (isn't he from that area?) and try to revive them?
Would he want to even go to the East knowing that he will be dealing with the Celtics, Sixers and Raptors for the foreseeable future? Especially after he just made the Warriors weaker by leaving.
At least 1 Vegas sportsbook has the Lakers as his most likely landing spot. This is only significant because Vegas is usually pretty good and there was a move in the betting lines last year that had the Lakers as the favorite to get Lebron, just before he signed with them.
Would he want to go to the Clips and compete directly with Lebron, especially if the Clips could land another top level guy?
Would the Spurs have the cap space for him where he could be teamed up with Aldridge and DeRozan? Would he want to play for a curmudgeon like Pop?
KD's FA is going to be very interesting.
I would expect them to do what they said. When you're winning titles , you soak it for everything you can as long as possible and you dont care about the losersjust wondering what you expected them to say--- not saying this isnt true- who the hell knows
but did you expect them to say "Ya know- this might be irreparable- its clear KD is leaving and Draymond is pissed that its become a side show- this is the last year they will be together".
Pretty much sums it up. Tons of variables, which is why I doubt KD has any clue what he wants to do yet, no matter what his family tweets.
