I don't think Fowler will thrive in STL like he did in Chicago. If it's true he's getting 16 mil per year over 5 years, then this was a humungous overpay.
Great signing...brings speed, athleticism, solidifies the top of the order with his OBP, and a team leader.

Do you know the answer? It's such a bizarre cast. I'm guessing the old guy is the main character and he has two daughters, one has a goofy boyfriend (seen on the left), his mother is still alive, he has a dog and the black woman in the back on the right is his agent or something ?

Cleaning lady?

I have no fucking idea what the Jays are doing anymore. At this point I'm semi-hoping they trade everybody over 26 for prospects and try to compete for 2018 or 19.

What a disappointment. Way to reward your fans who packed your concrete dungeon and made you a league-leader in attendance.

Personally, I thought they played perfectly in the postseason.

Yeah. Its basically an improvement over Matt Holliday in age, speed, bat, and glove. Not convinced Fowler even has to be in CF, either, but its a good option.

Tribe blew a 3-1 lead.

Meh.

With only 1.6 healthy starters, they had no business being in the World Series Game 7, but they were, and they embarrassed the Red Sox, retired Big Papi, ass-fucked the Canadians and exposed the Cubs along the way.

I'm not sad.

You're right that might be what they are doing, but on the other hand they could just reload with Blackmon and one other bat. They still have solid starting pitching and EE and Bautista are both probably in decline at this point. (well definitely Bautista-I think Encarnacion probably peaked in the last couple years so maybe he's got a couple more good ones left)

Pretty sure most of the team is American and Hispanic, bud.

After doing some research, I believe that is Marsha Warfield (the sassy bailiff from Night Court) who played a Dr. in Empty Nest. I'm awaiting confirmation from someone who actually watched the show, but for now I'm considering the mystery solved and getting on with my day.

If they trade Stroman for Blackmon they're insane.

He gets on base a lot, has some pop, and runs very well. Even with the various changes in teams, his OBP and SLG have been fairly consistent.
