on the one hand, i hope that is not the reason for his time off...cause that would be some ridiculous shit.

Sounds like Chris Mangus is going to East Carolina. Pretty nice of Beams to let him do that considering we have ECU on the schedule for what seems like the next (and last) 10 years. But I am good with that...it has turned into a competitive series. Good luck to Mangus....except when they play the good guys.

Would seem a little desperate for Michigan. I would think they'd go thru quite a few guys before getting to him. I like Loef, but some would say he hasn't even proved himself as a successful OC (not just at VT), much less a guy that should be up for a HC position.

Agreed. They're talking about Harbaugh. Even as much of a long shot that is, if Scot Loeffler is on that same list, there have to be plenty of candidates in between.

The buzzards are circling over Hoke right now. It is probably matter of when, not if. But yeah, I think Lefty would be a major reach. Doubt the Michigan faithful would be very excited about that hire.

From what I have gathered, Jerome has been back for a long time but on the scout team only. They were going to dress him for the game vs Pitt but he pulled a hammy this week in practice.

Josh Stanford is back but is on the scout team as well.
