Are there many Canes fans here? It’s one of the least popular teams in the NHL, but I imagine someone aspires to the ‘glory days’. Or Hartford.

In 2005 after the lockout the Hurricanes could not sell out the Stanley Cup Finals.

There was one guy on CBS who was a big Hurricanes fan, but other then that I can't remember any even when I lived in Carolina.

I had a co-worker who thought Bates Battaglia was the 2nd coming of Wayne Gretzky. Talked about them nonstop after their Cup run in 2002. I think he might've been putting something in his coffee.
