I took that scene as more Matt n Trey doing a little self deprecation, as in, "yea, we know Towlie sucks and was a bad idea". Haven't seen him since, which is telling to me

Jerome "Chef" McElroy... May he rest in peace! lol. Damn shame they had to brutally kill off that character over a religious dispute between the writers & Isaac Hayes. Chef was a great character.

Gomer is still Gomer, but pretty sure the pick was from Gomer Pyle USMC and not Andy Griffith. I guess Molsan can clarify if he wants?

To be honest I didn't like it at all the first episode I watched with the wife. It must have gotten a ton better in season 2 because it is much more funny now.
