maybe maybe not
lots of difference than Brady case
NFL still has to follow proper procedure which NFLPA claims they did not
both sides are doubling down
Im hoping that this case cripples Goodell and the New York Gang but we will have to wait and see
Problem is, it's not just about Brady. The court has already decided in previous rulings it will not interfere with NFL's private rulings. See: Rice, Bounty, and of course Brady. Because the NFL ruling power was collectively bargained by the NFLPA, the players had their chance to have a say in the matters of discipline, and agreed to hand over all matters to Goodell. I simply don't see a court interfering with a CBA in which the players agreed to.

The Brady and the Adrian Peterson cases means it all over but the crying... doubtful he's even granted an injunction at this point.

We shall see. If they dismiss Zeke case, doubt you see anymore players filing lawsuits to fight Godell rulings. I'm actually surprised Zeke went this route, the odds are stacked against him.
maybe but he honestly has nothing to lose being branded with a DV suspension which he claims did not happen made a scorthed earth defense possible

Will wait and see what the court says

Agreed.

In the next CBA they need to push for a tiered program for fines/suspensions. They'll probably never get the power back from Goodell but they can limit his ability by forcing owners into a tiered system that takes the decisions out of his hands in terms of amounts and length of suspensions.

NFLPA is saying that the Personel conduct policy was not collectively bargained for. Article 46 has been in the CBA since 1968 but conduct policy was implemented not bargained for.
They still have to follow proper labor procedure on appeals that is the crux of the NFLPA's argument that the system was rigged from the beginning

either way this wont go away until the last appeal is denied

So if I understand this correctly, it's either 6 games or 0 all depending on the TRO ruling? If the TRO is granted that forces the NFL to dismiss the suspension?
The TRO only delays the suspension, all he can hope for now is the courts to decide Article 46 violates Labor Law, or that the NFL investigation was inadequate.

Even if it was not bargained, Zeke agreed to it the second he signed his contract.

Darren McFadden will do a good job until Zeke gets back.

From what I understamd the Union is paying for it, so what does Zeke have to lose. If he doesn't fight he's suspended 6 games, if he fights and loses he's suspended 6 games.

Well he will play against the Giants for what that's worth.

The players need to demand more proof too. No more of this "Well I "Think" you did something".

Union has been spending a lot of money on fruitless lawsuits, when they should be amassing a war chest for the next CBA.

Why can't Urban just step in and make it all disappeared like he did in the past with Elliot?
