John Papuchis new DC University of North Carolina Tar Heels Official Athletic Site

Terry Joseph D Backs Coach University of North Carolina Tar Heels Official Athletic Site

Mike Ekeler Linebackers Coach University of North Carolina Tar Heels Official Athletic Site

In 2017, I will be watching North Carolina very closely to see what Papuchis actually does as a DC.

Papuchis's BIO is an entertaining read. HE COACHED SUH!!!

A coach's life is so transient. Sure, the money is good, but you are in fear of losing your job every year.

Then there is Tim Beck at Texas as the OC.

Ron Brown is at Liberty with Turner Gill, which makes sense.

So, just what is Bruce Read doing in Montreal with the Alouettes?

Team Stats - Montreal Alouettes

Montreal actually has a good kicker, but he was there before Bruce Read appeared.

Didn't Ekeler decapitate one of his own players at Georgia?

Oops, North Carolina loses to California.

California 469 yards of total offense.

Tim Beck at Texas, lost

Pelini almost beat PITTSBURGH

Liberty beat Baylor.

From Yahoo Sports:

"Worst coordinator debut outside the state of Texas: John Papuchis (19), DC, North Carolina. He was promoted to replace the retired Gene Chizik, and the first game did not go well. Papuchis had seven starters back on defense from last season, but the Tar Heels were torched at home for 363 passing yards and four touchdowns by a Cal quarterback (Ross Bowers) who had never thrown a collegiate pass prior to Saturday.

Dishonorable mention to Shawn Watson, OC, Pitt; Peter Sirmon, DC, Louisville."

Yikes
