Just because someone gets paid a lot of money for something, doesn't make what they do a sport or them an athlete.

But come on, I get making fun of it. But soccer is a sport and those guys are among the best athletes in the world.

Soccer's not a sport. But I will grant that some of the players do flop pretty athletically.

Flopping? I thought we were talking about soccer not the NBA

What if he joins on the MLE? That’d be sick. I think Lebron is looking for an easy path to a few titles, so he can stretch out his career a few more years and beef up his resume. A roster with Lebron, Curry, Durant, Thompson, and Green would be the best team ever assembled.
Most talented team maybe. The Showtime Lakers would still be the best IMO. They dominated in the physical 80's style, and if they played today, and you couldn't put your hands on guys like Magic, KAJ, and Worthy, they would score at will. Team was always super deep as well

On a side note, if LBJ wants to be sitting by MJ when he hangs it up, he needs to beat them, not join them

You read that right.

You and I don't agree on things always but I always respect your views.

You've off your rocker on this one. You don't have to like the sport but it is pretty much the epitome of sport.

It's a sport in the same way the Nathans Hot Dog Eating Championship is a sport.

No way the Warriors do this. Durant's whole assimilation to the team has been with the understanding that at the end of the day, it's Curry's team. He's the face of the franchise. Lebron will take no such back seat, no should he.

Here's how the scenario plays out:

1) Lebron decides he wants to go to the Warriors. He opts out of his contract and decides to do a sign and trade deal. 4 years 100M. Decides to take less because it's the culture and he wants to be a part of it.

2) Warriors facilitate the trade with the Cavs, sending Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and 2 1st round picks.

3) The Warriors then immediately trade Lebron to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.

Read the related article on ESPN. If they ever obtained LeBron (which will never happen) they have to first get rid of likely Thompson & another significant player. James has been very clear that he will not accept less than the max salary & no way that you can make that move & still retain all of those players.

This article is total fabrication & proof that ESPN is getting worse by the minute.
I could see Lebron signing elsewhere for less than the max. When has he said he would only sign for the max?

4 ) The NBA is no longer a sport and there are riots throughout the U.S.

He can't possibly be this stupid. For his sake, I pray this is a silly rumor

It would be brilliant! 2 of them could take off every game, they'd still win 70 games and they'd all play until they're in their 50's.
