Don't be an idiot. Duke made the sweet sixteen and lost. Only 8 teams did better than Duke. 8 teams did the same thing losing in the next round, but only 8 teams advanced deeper than Duke. I didn't major in math to figure that out.

I'd take UVA's season in 2015, (30-4) and lost in the Round of 32, over NC State's, (22-14) and lost in the Sweet 16.

Really think that people take the results of a single-elimination tournament way too seriously. Unless you win it or make it to the Final Four (regional championship), who cares?

The Elite 8 and the Sweet 16 rarely (if ever) consists of the best 8-16 teams in the country.

With that said, Duke was clearly one of the best sixteen teams in the country. They were a #4 seed (one of the Top 16 in the committee's eyes) that made the Sweet 16.

The main reasons wisky lost is that for some godforsaken reason Bronson Koening and the other guard thought they were the best players on the team in the second half and starting jacking up long 3s instead of letting their best players put the game away.

Plus they let Allen burn them over and over again when they should've been putting the clamps down and putting the game away.

Those calls, while incredibly suspicious, just finished Wisky off.
