After a certain amount of time, you are unable to edit posts. Don't know why, but that's just the way it is.

This is correct. How many minutes I'm not sure (I think 10), but once it is gone the post remains as is.

What about posts like say, Pozz's undrafted free agent signing tracker. He likes to keep the list on one post, this wouldn't allow that either.

Who cares what trolls say, just keep them banned and deleted, but removing functionality from the board doesn't help the rest of us.

Yeah, when I registered over here I seem to recall seeing something that mentioned you had 10 minutes to edit posts. I am use to the 'other' site and more than a couple times I have regretted not double checking my post...

If the edit button is still visible then you need to click the "go advanced" button. if the 'Edit' option has expired and the 'edit' button is gone you can ask Clyde or Ray.
