Ironically they have quite a few guys who are leaders in the nbpa

And surprise surprise they had no foresight into thinking that this second tax line would curb spending

I don't understand what the NBAPA was doing. The president, CJ McCollum, isn't a star and a few in the higher up position are rank and file guys. But that tax floor rule will pretty much destroy the middle class of players, which all of those guys are. Stars will get paid. But all those guys making 15, 20, 25 mil are gonna be fighting for 10 mil or less contracts now

I said it before and y’all scoffed

Lebron
CP3
Mccollum

They all already got theirs so they sold everyone else out without blinking

Not at all what I said. I said he was closer to his level. I would drop it there, but based on this comment it is clear you may need some hand holding.

You see Udoka is better than Mazzula, which makes him closer to Spoelstras level, not as good. Spoelstra is elite, Udoka is very good and likely to be elite some day.

Now stick with me here, the series went to 7 games, so my assertion was a better coach for the Celtics could have changed the series. So my question was would the better coach in Boston made a difference in the series.

Good luck with your future reading comprehension.
Spo is a top 4 all time coach and Mazzula is....not. So while I agree Udoka is better than Mazzulla the's a lot closer to him than he is to Spo

Nah.

Celtics lost this one

Miami is tough

But the talent disparity is just wide
Cs being a bunch of selfish players didn't help but Miami played better and earned the series W by their own play.

Wherever he slots in, his players had bought in with him. That scandal really ended up wrecking this season for the Celtics ultimately.

Not a double dribble
Not a travel

You can post 2 dozen more times and you’re still going to be wrong. It’s hilarious that you can never own shit when you’re wrong.
Haha.....said right away on the topic I was wrong about the double dribble.

Oh, the irony.

I agree with this, but all the semantics around how close they are to each other just ignores what the actual point was. Which was the coaching gap would not have been near as bad with Udoka. In a close series it matters.

Yeah it was definitely a factor and in a 7 game series it doesn't take much

I dont even know what boston needs to do.

They, in theory, have all the pieces.

But it just doesn't work.

These last 2 years and the bubble were all just blown opportunities.

It's entirely possible this group just never gets it done.

Part of that is danny wasting a ton of draft capital, never making that next big swing.

Part of it is just....these dudes are charmin soft

But where to go from here?

I'm really not sure.

Him not pulling the trigger on those picks were huge

And the shame was his best pick he traded in Bane

To dump the terrible kanter deal that never made sense,
Especially to give him a second year

That core has been together for like 6 years. In current day NBA years, that's like 20 years.

And they are finally good enough to really
contend now!

They need a coach.

I wouldn’t call it irony when you immediately pivoted to “it must be a travel”. I think it was rather predictable.

They had success with Doc Rivers before and he's available....

I just hope they can win a title after KD leaves

Not possible man.

KD carried them. Warriors got lucky that one they won before he arrived.

No chance they even sniff another title after KD leaves!

Did I get that right?
