I'm not leaning any way. I have no idea whether he really raped her or if she's lying. If he raped her, he's scum. If she's lying about it, she's scum. That's as far as I'm willing to judge at the moment because I don't know the evidence.

Either way, hope the Eagles tell him to keep away until the fact finding is complete, League puts him on the Commissioner exempt list if there is any validity to her story, and once they have the facts go ahead and choose what kind of punishment there should be if it is true and hopefully if the evidence does show that to be what likely happened release him. If it ends up being one of those Ray Rice/OJ Simpson type of not guilties where there's more than just a he said/she said case I hope he gets cut by Philly and has a nice long suspension as well.

I hope that it did not happen, of course, because you never want to hear about someone getting raped, but then, if it didn't happen it becomes that much harder for people who are actually assaulted to get justice.

Maybe, maybe not. There's a understandably high level of evidence needed to convict. Not so in the workplace or NFL (NFL is not taking away someones right to freedom by putting them in prison).

If the evidence was on par with say the evidence of OJ's case, or Rice's domestic violence case, even though those ended in not guilty and dropped charges, I hope the Eagles release him and the NFL gives him a long long suspension. Or even if he gets a massive reduction in the charges via a plea deal or payout to the person.

Of course all that is based on if the evidence strongly supports him raping her. Where it gets really tough is the he said/she said type of situation, a-la Big Ben, Kobe, Duke Lacrosse situations. There is no good choice by the Eagles/league in those ones, that's a lose/lose situation there.
