Even if he doesnt have many yards in a game but still got his touches, by the 4th quarter the opposing defense is so exhausted from tackling him it makes it easier for his team to close out games. Dude's a horse, outside of AP wouldnt trade him for any RB.

I actually loved the pick. I agree he's a lot like Gore and think he will be spell Frank quite a bit in order to keep him rested for the playoffs. He and Lattimore are a potentially scary 1-2 punch if Lat can get back close to form.

Peterson is the best right now, hands down. However, if you don't have the desire or conviction to be the best, you should get out of the game. McCoy is just hyping himself up. Maybe this is his year?

Since Peterson entered the league in 2007 we've had numerous back say or get publicity about being better than Peterson.

He beat them all down. This is nothing new and how people haven't been able to look at history and see it repeat itself over and over I don't know.

Charles is the only one who ever had any staying power in the debate at all. That's why I have him as the 2nd best back in the league even in front of McCoy.

Jamal Charles is the best back in the league, imo. Dude is the All-Time Career leader for YPC. Beating Jim Brown by half a yard. Next, throw in his receiving skills and the fact that he has done this playing for the Chiefs. I don't think anyone in the league touches his talent.

IMHO

He's pretty damn close...AP maybe the best pure RB in terms of handing off to him time after time after time and wearing you down, but Shady imo is the most explosive player on the field just about every week he plays...he can run between the tackles, he can get to the edge, he can reverse field and take it to the house...screen pass, slot.
