i didn't say they cant score more than 16... just that 16 is 100 Yds + TD for WR/RB.. which is very good... but often is bettered... a GREAT defensive outing should be more than 16 too... but i dont want an average defensive game to be equal more than an average WR/RB...


If you look at it, its still possible to be over 16... its just very hard... but it is also very hard to be a negative.... which is more important IMO... still needs to be a possibility though...

and we need to keep the differential down too... just like in every other position

Well that the thing, I don't want it to be hard. A great game is a great game. For a defense, that's a shutout, plus whatever else they can get. If 16 for a RB/WR is a "good" game, then 20+ is great, yes? So in today's NFL, given the scoring shift..what's a great defensive game? How many points can they allow and still have had a great day? 7?, 10? 3? 0??? And why can't that be worth something that allows them to equate to 20+?

Got your offer SP. Things are just too hazy with Hyde for me to make that deal. It's going to take a monster to pry both the 3 and the 4 from us. We really want to use one of those picks at least and have no problem using both of them, but if the right deal comes (RB1 and WR1 in a package, or RB1 and RB2 in a package) we would consider it. Dealing just one of the picks is a different story, but it would take either a RB1 or a package including a RB2 and something else to deal one of them. If it gets to the draft and we still have the picks, we will be taking running backs with both picks at 1.3 and 1.4.
