I see an LSU type season coming up for the Dukies.
I forgot what a decent OC was like. Petersen wasn't big of offenses that could move the ball on a regular basis. This is Cutcliffe's first 4* QB at Duke, but don't count on it unless he gets some OL, LB's, DB's, WR's and an OC who can call plays
It's 100% not possible. The two locations Clemson fans wanted him to go the most were either Duke or to USF with Jeff Scott. Happy for Chase. It's very possible that the two best QBs in the ACC next season were both signed by Clemson out of high school.
Or because the ACC can actually produce NFL QBsHe knows going against ACC defenses 8 times a season is the ticket to big time success. Smart dude.

They aren't any better than the Big 10, SEC or PAC 12 so that simply is not true, so he could have went to really any conference other than the Big 12 and he could succeed.
The reason he went to do Duke most likely has to do with Cutcliffe (not sure if he has a relationship with him), he is familiar with the ACC and it doesn't hurt he can succeed more in the ACC bc of his experience in the conference throughout his career as backup and the lack of top teams.
This is about Cutcliffe and Duke, not the ACC

If I were a fan of a team riding a five game losing streak to ACC teams where the average margin of victory was 36-13 I doubt I would be talking smack about their defenses.
I'd love for the Cocks to play an 8-game ACC schedule. Would be really good bowls every single year.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure an 8-game ACC schedule wouldn't include 3 games against 14/15 win Clemson teams all in the same season.LOL
You've lost to the last five ACC teams you've played by an average of 23 points, so the only bowls you'll be seeing is the one you are obviously smoking out of.
What about 28-0 Virginia?Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure an 8-game ACC schedule wouldn't include 3 games against 14/15 win Clemson teams all in the same season.
