His college career is over. He can get sponsorships and agents can give him money now.
Not going in the second round. This is pretty fucking stupid for someone who might not even go in the lottery. If he's drafted in the 20's the most he's guaranteed is 4.7 million(20th pick). Take into account taxes and agent fees, he'll only see like 3 million of that. Maybe even less.
I'm assuming he borrowed the money and it will pay it off once he's paid. if he somehow slips to the 2nd round he's guaranteed nothing.

This is ridiculous...article doesn't even mention what color it was
It seems like some (make that many) of these kids don't get (or listen to) any decent guidance on sound financial decisions. Way too many of them are influenced only by swag and being sucked dry by members of their circle of influence such as uncles, friends, etc. They'll have a 5 year career earning significant money and not have a damn thing saved up when it is over. This is pretty fucking stupid for someone who might not even go in the lottery. Cal had 2 Final 4’s vacated, but lets listen to him keep whining about other coaches cheating brah.
Does it matter why they were vacated? Do you really think he was talking Camby into leaving UMass for money?Cal had 2 Final 4’s vacated, but lets listen to him keep whining about other coaches cheating brah.

This dumbass was 2 selections away from being guaranteed nothing. Dude's salary will be about 1.6 million this season. Before taxes.
