In the last five drafts, tell me one first round pick you would do over, thanks to now 20/20 hindsight No trades, just where your team picked and who was available at the time.

Well RGIII is pretty obvious for most teams.. I'll change it differently. I like Cox and Lane Johnson for two of those years.

So

2011 I'll go Justin Houston over Danny Watkins
OR
2014. Derek Carr over Marcus Smith
OR
2015. Another player or just not pick over Nelson Agholor? lol

Maybe Leveon Bell over Sylvester Williams. But I'm pretty happy with what we've done in the draft the past few years.

David DeCastro over Bruce Irvin?

Irvin wasn't a bad pick or anything, but long term, DeCastro would have been a nice add.

I liked DeCastro as well that year. Bruce worked out well though. He wasn't an Aaron Curry.

For Seattle I would undo the trade for Percy Harvin in 2013 that cost a 1st rounder. I didn't have a problem with the rationale for the trade, but in hindsight of course it didn't work out. Even after he missed nearly all of 2013, I thought in '14 there was a good chance he would be a big weapon in the offense and certainly as a returner. Problem was that it seemed Bevell tried too hard to shape the entire offense around his role and it got the team away from its true identity. Traded him halfway through that season, and in the end pretty much all we got from him was a big return TD in a SB win (when the score was already 22-0) and some serious locker room problems.

Ironically, we are at somewhat of a similar place with Graham but so far no sign of locker room issues. And like with Harvin, I still think there's a good chance he'll be big for the offense this year if his health checks out. Maybe the joke will be on me again, guess we'll see....

The one thing about Percy though, in the Super-Bowl he was a huge X factor that Denver's D had to worry about big time.... His threat on the field opened up other opportunities offensively ... The limited amount of time he played that year actually helped us in that game, Denver didn't have much tape to go on when preparing for him... Those end arounds early set a huge tone early and that return was a pretty big dagger...

No argument, and his presence/effect in the SB was one of the reasons I was so encouraged about what he might do when healthy in '14. As it turned out, the bubble screens weren't as effective with him (and we did it a lot) as with Tate, and Harvin never really meshed in as a true receiver. He only averaged 6 yards a catch before we shipped him off to the Jets. That's pretty bad.

Yeah he ended up being a disaster in that area.... I would a SO preferred keeping Tate... I always really liked Tate's game...

Tate didn't have Harvin's speed, but he was a sure-handed tough runner after the catch who was also way better than Harvin (and most everyone else) at playing the ball in the air and improvising routes when the play breaks down. He'll probably be huge again for Detroit this year with Megatron retired, just like his first year there when Megatron was injured.

We really have done well with our 1st pick in the draft since Elway took over with all 5 being big time players in us winning the Super Bowl. 2nd round though is where Elway and his staff have really struggled. I would love to have Travis Kelce playing TE for us right now instead of watching Montee Ball possibly heading to prison.

Another tough one is picking Brock Osweiler in the 2nd over that of Russell Wilson. I mean can you imagine this team going from Peyton for a few years to then Wilson running the team for the next 10-15? Very nice Super Bowl window open for a very long time. Have to hope that Paxton Lynch can become that guy now.
