Dr Jack .. I for one never questioned his medical credentials. Although I do question his passing on Mike Jordan for Sam Bowie. He represented all that was right with sports..not just the NBA. Basketball lost a great man today.

Great man. Miss him as a heat announcer. I learned alot about the game listening to him break down the mid 90s heat games while I was in high school.

I used to enjoy listening to Dr. Jack's analysis. He was a great teacher of the sport.

This really makes me smile.

I never wish to see a soul like his pass. But he's earned some respite. With his passing I'm reminded.. continuously over the past couple of days.. of what we as people should aspire to be, when faced with the muck that every single one of us has had to slog through in the past few days.

77 and his signature hangs in the rafters at the Moda, always has, always will among the other greats too.
