Dolphins to release Brandon Albert

Not sure this is a smart move. I understand they believe Tunsil is the future at LT, but I would have liked to see them work something out to keep Albert.

I guess I was doing something wrong when calculating cap space before these releases. When I was factoring in Suh's and Tannehill's increase in 2018, those 2 alone were going to cost over 15M more in 17' than they did in 16'.

I heard that the cap is going up by 15% so that may be the difference.

I'm guessing that they'll get a pick for Albert and use the cash to sign a top notch LG making the oline better and healthier. If so great move. OG is cheaper in FA so makes sense.

They can then use some cash for Landry and LB's or even a FS or DT or TE. Fill the rest in the draft as DE is more expensive makes sense to find one in the draft early.
