The committee does factor in injuries.
So, they won't put too much stock in these game without Smart.
Okie State better not finish poorly once he gets back however.
Problem is, he isn't injured. He caused this.
And they look at that stuff if you started your slide when the player went out. They were free falling even with Smart.
If the committee takes a 7-11 conference team that would be a travesty.
After what I saw last night, I don't think so. That score could easily have been 100-60.
Another loss for the Cowboys today ( in Stillwater again ).... This team is officially on full mode life support
It's really going to come down to how the committee vs the atrocious conference record.
There is a very real chance they finsh 7-11 in conference but still a decent resume overall.
What do you do there? I think 7-11 is unacceptable to be a tourney team but we'll see.

Let's say they beat TTU, TCU, and Baylor to finish 7-11. How is that a "decent" resume? Their best wins would be Texas (a likey 5-6 seed) and Memphis (a likely 7-8 seed who they lost to on a neutral court). Their #3 win would be against a bubble Colorado team.
So that's what, 2-11 against teams with a pulse? I'm sorry, but that's not a "decent" resume overall.
