I've never seen soccer on the TV's in the pubs I frequent. But then again, I'm sure you and Romeo know more about the Chicago sports bar scene than I.

I personally don't hate soccer. Played for years as a kid but just not a very big fan now. I don't agree with people saying it isn't a sport though.

Soccer in SoCal is a mainstay. I loved playing soccer as a kid, as much as any sport. I don't watch it a whole lot but I always watch the World Cup. It's definitely a sport.

I'd rather watch Chinese midget women play ping pong for days than watch soccer for 5 minutes. But I can't imagine another sport overtaking it in popularity worldwide.
