This is ridiculous. We need to find out what the fuck our trainers and coaches are doing with our pitchers. This will be a huge red flag for any pitcher looking to sign with the team in the future.

Pitching coach Mike Harkey is flying under the radar. He needs to be fired ASAP. They should just put him, Towers and Gibby on a raft and send them out to sail.

Harkey comes in and suddenly a staff that was reasonably expected to be mediocre looks like they couldn't handle A-ball hitters for a month and the season is over. Corbin and Arroyo go down. Every pitcher they have that was just okay is horrible and most of the ones that were pretty good go bad.

In any other job, a manager that got that output out of his guys would have been canned a long time ago.

Chase has looked good & the offense decided to show up tonight. It's funny how some pitchers can make dangerous guys like Stanton, who can hit everything, look silly. Chase has made Stanton look silly with all the off-speed pitches & struck him out twice now.

Peralta is making Parra look more & more expendable everyday. And I love what Parra brings to the defense.

We won't know till he starts facing the NLW on a constant basis. But the power is there, which is more than we can say for Parra. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him if we can get a good return for Parra. He is getting expensive & his bat & base running has been poor. With Pollock & Trumbo penciled in for the next few season, even if he drops 30 points, he is still better than Parra at the plate. And that would leave Inciarte as the 4th OF who gives us speed, def, & small ball.
