Read about that and it kinda puzzled me, I just assumed he'd end up at awwbun. :noidea:

Seriously though, dude's extremely talented, but I'm not sure I'd be seeking him out to be on my team.

He's definitely classified as "SEC MATERIAL".... :dhd:

Bob will give talented guise a chance if their trouble wasn't too serious. But he'll drop them like a bad habit given the first sign of trouble thereafter.

I say give the kid a chance if he sits out a year and gets his shit together.

I'm all for giving someone a second chance but after seeing how he treated his multiple chances at Mizzou, I'm not so sure the kid is interested in doing anything other than what he wants. I think he's more likely to go to either a smaller school where he can play right away or sit out and get ready for the NFL Draft imo. He'd definitely be a good get for somebody if he can act right.

I think his main problem was not getting far enough away from his "peeps".

Sometimes kids need to get away from their homeland to fully grow and mature. I'm thinking alot of his "posse" followed him to Columbia.

It's time to put away childish things and be a man if he's coming to Norman. He can really maximize his potential athletically and monetarily by doing so.

Its like 4 hours from Norman to Springfield and 2 1/2 hours from Springfield to Columbia. Its not a big deal for him to get reunited with his 'crew' either way.

His last incident was a judgment problem which had nothing to do with his friends. The reality is that if Oklahoma takes him in, they are taking someone who was too big of a character risk for Mizzou and ignoring the red flags.

Red flags in Columbia doesn't mean there will be red flags in Norman.

Trust me. He won't be given a chance if there are any doubts...and it won't take two possession charges and an assault charge for OU to send him packing.

I hope it works out for the kid. You hate to see players with such potential and opportunities fuck around like he has. Maybe he's learned his lesson, only time will tell.

Marinovich (sp?) didn't learn so the history says some just don't get it and destroy their career before it ever gets started.

While tempting for OU for sure... Bobs history is he doesn't put up with this shit and I can't believe they'd bring him in but if they do and he doesn't screw up he's definitely a great talent.

Its the perfect situation really.

Trust me, I'm the first to grab a pitchfork and torch when an OU player screws up. I've also stated many times previously that I'd take a 2 or 3 star kid that has dreamed of playing for OU than any 5 star, regardless of pedigree.

Here is a kid with monumental upside that has one more chance at major CFB football. He knows he's not ready for the NFL in terms of talent or maturity. There is no greater motivator than failure.

He gets one shot on a team that breeds champions and stars. He and we would be fools to balk at the opportunity.

If he does straighten out and comes to Oklahoma, he will have a year to adapt to the program. They will redshirt him and he will play in the 2015 season...in theory...
