Is he hurt or is Dak the kind of QB that doesn't work well with the type of receiver he is? The big, physical receiver that muscles his way to the catch as opposed to the guys that get separation.
Most overrated player in the game today
The better corners in this league shut him down every time
Hurt? Not a great start by Dez and his ongoing problem of not being able to create separation seems bigger this year, but he looked healthy on this playIs he hurt or is Dak the kind of QB that doesn't work well with the type of receiver he is? From what I've seen Dak throws a better deep ball than Romo. But Romo did throw those 20-25 yards passes a lot more often. Dez can't seem to get open consistently unless running slants or something else over the middle. So go with what he is good at. No need to force it to him deep or down the sideline. And as stated above he has had problems with Jenkins and his other two outings were against Peterson and Talib. Too much worrying so far. just like Elliott. He has played what likely ends up 3 of the better run defenses in the league and two on the road. Dez isn't going to be a 100 catch guy. But hopefully he will be a 12+ TD guy. Elliott isn't matching last years rushing yards or nearing 2,000, but he doesn't have to in order to help them win gamesI think it has to to with Dak vs Romo. Romo threw the deep ball, Dak not as much, therefore Dez doesn't put up the same numbers. He's still top 5 redzone WR in my book.
He's big enough and strong enough but he isn't fast enough or elusive enough.
But dammit! He caught that fucking ball....
It was a catch you mong

Simply because his QB doesn't push the issue. If he forced the ball there would be more catches. As is Dak just throws the ball elsewhere and we win.
Well, that, and he doesnt get separation
His game has never been about speed, it's been about power. But he's not getting the targets because there hasn't been much need to
I think I could kick his ass
this, he doesnt have that seperation speed anymoreHe's big enough and strong enough but he isn't fast enough or elusive enough.
