Lackey was lacking last night, but hopefully Dempster won't be DUMPster tonight.
Tonight's Baltimore pitcher, 30 year old Scott Feldman, will be making his 121st MLB start. 845 1/3 innings pitched,
883hits allowed, 281 walks, 518 Ks. A career WHIP of 1.38. His season WHIP is lower, 1.13,but hopefully willbe closer to the career number when he heads to the showers.
Dempster will be making his 343 career start, 21st of this season. 115 2/3 innings this year with
114 hits allowed, 54 walks, 108 Ks, a 1.45 WHIP (negligibly higher than his career 1.43) and a season ERA negligibly lower than his career number. (4.28 vs 4.33) Stats for both pitchers from espn.go.com
