I'll be surprised if this team sees .500 again this year. There is nothing for JD to hold on for but to sell what he can.

Right. We're not going any where. Hope we dump more than Darvish.

There is a zero percent chance that Yu Darvish re-signs with the Rangers after he is traded tomorrow. I think the front office knows this but feels compelled to say otherwise.

3000!! You saw that, Ephland?

Indeed I did.

Got to the park around noon, they didn't open the gates until around 12:30. It was pretty damn hot out there. The crowd was bigger than the seats would indicate, a lot of people stayed on the concourses.

Really amazing to witness the hit. They had everything ready to go... his kids sprinted out and unveiled the wall sign, the Rangers unfurled a huge banner, and Beltre was very appreciative of the crowd there. Most impressive to me was that even after he got his hit, and they were getting the shit kicked out of them (thanks, Perez), he played the whole game.

It was indeed AWESOME! I stayed in my seat from 1:30 until the top of the 8th when I had to pee and damn if I didnt get a bit burnt and that was with sunscreen and a hat!

I definitely did not sit in the sun the entire game. Was in my seat for every Beltre at bat, though.
