The Cavaliers is a long ways from getting started. I don't think they can win a title this season, but you never know. It's too early

I don't think so either. Not this year any ways. By the end of the season, though the management will have a better understanding of what they need to complete the team. One thing for Cleveland to look out for: Lebron signed a two year contract because he is anticipating that the players will opt out when they have the opportunity and will then be looking to sign a long term contract at the location he believes he will finish his career. That means Cleveland has this year and next to deliver a championship or lose Lebron again.

No one said the Cavs are done, but some of us do believe that Derek Rose is done - lol. Oh okay, so he plays here and there in stretches, but honestly does any one actually believe Rose will get healthy, and play the rest of the season without any more serious problems?

LOL you take 1 game. Yes he is because he is now the 3rd option in the offense. Its Butler then Gasol and now Rose. Starting Role player. He isn't the man any more. As a Bulls fan I would love for him to be the man again but I don't see it. He is what shooting 30% from behind the arc. For a guy that couldn't play basketball for 2 years you think he would of got better at the 3.

I watch every Bulls game. Trust me he is a role player on that team. Butler and Gasol are the 1-2 punch now. Both will make the all star game. Worry about your team because you have no clue what you are talking. Rose is a starting role player. he does his part on the offense because he is the PG. He isn't an Allstar anymore. I hope he can get to that level again and proves me wrong but I just don't see it. He still struggles with his shot. He had 2 years to work on it and still the same. He wont be able to drive all the time so unless he improves his shooting(I don't see it) he will be a role player starter for the Bulls.

Yes because he knows that for that 1 play he can drive and make something happen. He cant be that player for a whole game anymore. Im not bashing Rose. He is my Fav bulls player but Im just stating what I see from watching the games.

He isn't the same player and its very understandable because of what he went throught.

My whole point is he isn't who he is anymore I don't think we will see that player ever again. He is a Poor man version of Wade now. Both have bad knees, will miss games in a season, both aren't great shooters but both can drive and still give you a great game every once in awhile and u want them taking the last shot their team. Rose is better still at getting to the basket but wade has the experience of winning. I mean Rose Avg with Asst is only 5.2. That isn't great for a starting PG. He is ranked 28th in Asst.

Nope not butthurt just trying to help you out. I agree to a point that its a popularity contest but if that was the whole truth Rose would make it then because I think he is top 5 in jersey sales. So he would make even if he doesn't deserve it.

Honestly, it's hard to say if Rose is only a role player now or not. There's no disputing that his numbers are down. But is it because he's just a role player now, or is it because he's working his way back into NBA shape after missing 2 years and/or the fact that he actually has help now?
